A bus ride that can take you from Rishikesh in India to London in the UK, traveling across 20 countries. Yes, you read that right. This is a must-read article if you are longing for a road trip.

This journey is set to start from Rishikesh towards northeast India and then enter Myanmar. After this, it is set to pass Thailand, Laos, and China. Then it would enter Russia and then all the way to Europe. The journey will end in London.

This bus tour has been launched by a wrestler by the name of Labhanshu Sharma. He announced that in June 2021, the bus would-be taking 20 people on a bus ride from Rishikesh to London. Also known by the name Pahalwan Jee, he is a well-known wrestler who hails from Rishikesh. Apart from winning two gold medals in Asian International Games and Indo-Nepal International Wrestling Tournament, he is also a world peace activist.

While you are in Rishikesh you can also learn yoga to become a yoga teacher, so that whenever you travel you have a skill that gets you paid almost anywhere in the world. Learn more.

The tour route of the bus is as follows:

  • Week 1: Rishikesh to Imphal
  • Week 2: Onward to Myanmar
  • Week 3: From Myanmar-Thailand to Laos
  • Week 4: Onward to Chengdu in China
  • Week 5: To Dunhuang, China
  • Week 6: To Kashgar, China
  • Week 7: Travel to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan and Tashkent in Uzbekistan
  • Week 8: Visit the amazing Beyneu in Kazakhstan and Russia’s Moscow and St Petersburg
  • Week 9: Travel To Latvia, Prague in the Czech Republic, and Austria
  • Week 10: Travel To Beautiful Zurich in Switzerland, Paris in France, and London in the UK
  • Week 11: To Scotland and Wales before the drive back to London

The cost of the ticket is INR 13.99 lakh a pop and passengers are required to have a passport that has ten blank pages and is valid for the following 10 months.

The price may seem a little too much, however, there are several pitstops on the way and you get to soak in the different cultures of the beautiful countries across two continents.

However, only select 20 lucky people would get the opportunity to travel through 20 countries. the journey is said to commence in June 2021. However, the dates are subject to change considering the current pandemic situation of the world.

The tour aptly nicknamed the Incredible Bus Ride will be a 75-day long stopover journey. The only aim of this journey is to spread the incredible beauty of Indian culture all over the world.

As he is a peace activist, he has organized several such trips all through 32 countries and on international roads. In a recent successful endeavor, he, along with his brother Vishal completed a road trip to London from India.
